At Canon City and Royal Gorge there are a lot of scenic and historic sites to visit. One of this site is the Royal Gorge Route Railroad where it is considered as the most spectacular scenic railroad in the world. The worlds tallest suspension bridge called the Royal Gorge Bridge is also found at Canon City.

Canon City features an exciting river raftering where Arkansas Rivers flow. This river rafting offers different level of difficulties in battling the white waters of the Arkansas River. Canon city also has an award winning Winery at Holy Cross Abbey. This is made possible by Matt Cookson with his expertise and great attention of details in creating the award winning wine. If you do decide to visit Canon City downtown then historic scenery will never disappoint you with its many shops, restaurants and galleries.

In a time of uncertainty, New Age Imports Gifts has put together a community event to bring together people to help ignite inner knowledge. There will be Canon City Metaphysical Fair on March 27, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, March 28 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on March 29 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

The admission fee for the Metaphysical Fair is one way to help the local food bank. Because the admission is $5.00 for a day pass and $8.00 for a weekend pass but if you will donate food for the local food bank then there is a $1.00 discount on the admission fee.

There will be artist, dancers, workshops, healers, and quality readers and informational classes. There will also be FREE Workshops on how to free you from stress, Rediscover yourself, Shamanic Journeys, New and improved Antioxidants, improving your health and well being.

There are also other vendors that will offer different crafts from potpourri to salt lamps, jewelry, clothes, chimes, dragons, fairies and many more. These different vendors will also come from local and national vendors.
